Foundation Batch:

This is a special programme for students enrolled in INIFD SOBO. The programme involves setting expectations for the course the students have selected and teaching them the design fundamentals to students of interior and fashion design courses. It includes pencil sketching and shading, basics of art, cutting, pasting, colours, papercraft and art, and logo creation.

Hostel and Accommodation:

At INIFD, we receive students from various parts of the country. To help all of them require accommodation, we have tied up with various hostels and paying guest facilities. So, students don't have to worry about their stay arrangements. They can focus on their studies.

Handbook and Code of Conduct:

The Handbook and Code of conduct that INIFD SOBO provides to each INIFDian after admission is a welcome book. It helps an INIFDian understand the way INIFD operates and how the student should adapt to the rules to make the most of their time here.

Class Representatives:

A committee works as student representatives to bridge the gap between faculty and students. Students nominate class representatives to help faculty members fulfil students' needs actively. The representatives also work as a communication bridge between students and management.

Image Makeover:

At INIFD South Mumbai, we groom our students to make them look presentable and convincing to prospects and clients they meet as professionals. We polish our students by helping them improve their communication skills and their personal style, ensuring that each one of them steps into the industry in style and delivers their best!

Etiquette Classes:

We also conduct etiquette training classes for all our students. We prepare our students with various sessions from in-house faculty and successful visiting professionals. Such training sessions help them improve their social quotient.

Suggestion Desk:

We operate a suggestion desk through which INIFDians can connect with the SOBO faculty with suggestions. Students' suggestions enable us to analyse a particular situation and work to improve it.

Media Exposure:

We celebrate every milestone achievement of our students, current as well as alums, by providing them with abundant media exposure. It helps them become popular and be noticed by various interior and fashion design houses, stalwarts, celebrities and industry veterans.

Our placement cell connects INIFDians with corporates. The cell has placed various INIFDians from SOBO at reputed fashion and interior design organisations. We are happy that our students consider our placement cell to be a valuable addition to their careers.
